Patricia Horn has Tried to verdict over 150 civil cases throughout the counties in Southeastern Pennsylvania and successfully argued multiple appellate cases, including decisions upholding defense verdicts on limited tort and expert testimony issues. Patti is an American Jurisprudence Award winner, recognized for outstanding Trial Advocacy. Her closing arguments at Trial are legendary.
Patti is regularly appointed a Judge Pro Temp by the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas and a Philadelphia and Chester County Court of Common Pleas Arbitrator.
Patti earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts from Villanova University and her Juris Doctor Degree from Rutgers University. She is a graduate of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, has trained at the Insurance Society of Philadelphia and is a Trial Advocacy lecturer. Patti is also a lecturer for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Continuing Legal Education program and the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.
Prior to joining ConnorsO’Dell as a Partner in the General Liability and Insurance Coverage Group, Patti represented national corporations and manufacturers in products liability and medical malpractice litigation, and the interests of major insurance carriers defending auto and premises negligence litigation. She has extensive experience handling insurance coverage disputes.
Patti’s frequently presents seminars on issues involving insurance coverage litigation, dram shop, auto negligence and premises liability.
When not defending the interests of insurance carriers and their policyholder, Patti is active in her community and church. She founded an organization that raised money to support local animal shelters and organized the first conference in Pennsylvania to form No Kill animal shelters. Patti was the featured pet adoption spokesperson on several Philadelphia television and radio stations, and was the weekly adoption advocate on WXTU. Patti is often a volunteer waitress at The Black Cat Café, a nonprofit, all volunteer restaurant raising money for local animal shelters.
Patti also raises money and support for the National Better Chance program, Cradles to Crayons, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital’s Trisomy 21 Center in Philadelphia.
Prior to attending law school, Patti was an advertising professional and commercial actress. The Courtroom is now her theatre.
