ConnorsO’Dell, LLP proudly announces that Orville R. Walls, III, has joined the firm as a Partner in its Casualty Practice Litigation Group.

Orville will be handling the defense of liability matters, involving personal injury matters, automobile liability, premises liability, products liability, first party liability, construction defects, and insurance defense matters.

Orville is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, securing a BA in History, following which Orville graduated from the Widener University School of Law in 1997, subsequently securing an LLM in taxation from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2001.

Orville is admitted in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as the Federal District Courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Orville was the President of his graduating class from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.

He is past co-chair of the Business Development Subcommittee and Member, Minority Attorney Committee for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

He is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association.

Joining ConnorsO’Dell, Orville brings extensive experience defending liability matters, and he will be representing our clients in minimizing and negating potential liabilities for personal injury and commercial matters.

Orville previously served as a trial attorney for Allstate Insurance Company, as well as for Zurich North America.  He was also a Senior Associate at Campbell, Campbell, Edwards and Conroy, P.C.

Serving Allstate, Orville was in-house counsel for Allstate insureds in Eastern Pennsylvania, maintaining a portfolio of motor vehicle, slip and fall, and other personal insurance matter.  He was responsible for the full life cycle litigation process, to include interviewing clients, developing case strategy, conducting expert depositions, handling discovery, answering complaints, drafting responses to discovery requests, attending judicial conferences, selecting juries, and negotiating settlements through mediation and trials.

He chaired over 20 jury and bench trials, also handling numerous arbitrations and District Justice hearings throughout the five-county area near Philadelphia.

Orville also served of counsel with Septa, representing Septa in personal injury matters, in which he also would consult with witnesses, develop case strategies, answer complaints, conduct discovery, perform depositions, attend trials, depositions, judicial conferences, jury selection and hearings.
